لا يستبعد مراقبون انفجار الأوضاع في الضفة الغربية المحتلة على خلفية ممارسات المستوطنين المتطرفين. وحذرت القيادة الأمنية في إسرائيل القيادة السياسية وقادة المستوطنين من انزلاق الأمو وفقدان السيطرة مع تصاعد عنف المستعمرين، داعية إلى ضرورة تهدئة الأوضاع، وفق ما نقلت القناة 12 الإسرائيلية.

مقتل 4 فلسطينيين وإسرائيليين

وتجيء التحذيرات في أعقاب مقتل أربعة فلسطينيين وجنديين إسرائيليين، يوم الجمعة، عندما اقتربت مجموعة من المستوطنين الإسرائيليين من قرية تِل الفلسطينية جنوب غربي نابلس.

وبينما تنذر الأوضاع في الضفة بمزيد من التوتر، نقلت القناة 12 عن مسؤولين عسكريين إسرائيليين تحذيرهم من خطورة الدعم الكبير الذي يقدمه القادة السياسيون إلى المستوطنين الذين أشعلوا الليلة الماضية حرائق في خمسة مواقع بجانب توثيق 219 هجوماً لهم في الأشهر الأخيرة.

عملية أمنية إسرائيلية

وأضرم مستوطنان إسرائيليان النار، اليوم (الإثنين)، في المنطقة الصناعية ببلدة بيتا جنوبي نابلس، وقال نائب رئيس البلدية للجزيرة إنهم أحرقوا آلية داخلها.

وشنت قوات الاحتلال حملة اعتقالات في قرية دير جرير بقضاء رام الله، وحولت أحد المنازل فيها إلى مركز للتحقيق الميداني. واقتحمت مخيم العروب وبلدتي بيت أمر وإذنا في محافظة الخليل، وبلدة كفر قدوم شرق قلقيلية، وقرية تل جنوب غرب نابلس، وضاحية أكتابا شمال شرق طولكرم، وقرية جلبون شرق جنين.

وقال مسؤولون فلسطينيون أمس (الأحد) إن مستوطنين إسرائيليين هاجموا قرى فلسطينية في الضفة الغربية، وأضرموا النار في مسجدين، وكتبوا عبارات على الجدران.

تصاعد هجمات المستوطنين

وتشهد الضفة سلسلة متصاعدة من هجمات المستوطنين، إذ تشير إحصاءات الأمم المتحدة والسلطة الفلسطينية إلى أنها أدت إلى مقتل عشرات الفلسطينيين هذا العام وإصابة المئات.

ونقلت القناة الإسرائيلية عن مسؤولين أمنيين إسرائيليين، تأكيدهم أن الجيش الإسرائيلي يتجه إلى إمكانية الدفع بتعزيزات في الضفة الغربية تحسباً للأعياد اليهودية.

وكان رئيس وزراء إسرائيل بنيامين نتنياهو أمر بشن عملية أمنية واسعة النطاق في الضفة وإلغاء إجازات العسكريين، في حين دعا وزير المالية المنتمي إلى اليمين المتطرف بتسلئيل سموتريتش إلى ضم الضفة التي احتلتها إسرائيل عقب حرب عام 1967.

انتقادات داخل الكنيست

وأدى قرار نتنياهو إلى انتقادات داخل الكنيست والمعارضة. وقال عضو الكنيست جلعاد كريف (الأحد) إن رئيس الوزراء ووزير ماليته بتسلئيل سموتريتش يريدان «انتفاضة ثالثة» في الضفة الغربية. وأوضح في تغريدة على حسابه بمنصة إكس أن حكومة نتنياهو تريد إشعال الوضع في الضفة الغربية بدلاً من تهدئة الموقف فيها.

وأضاف، «تدفعنا عمداً نحو انتفاضة ثالثة، ونتنياهو يفعل ذلك لأسباب سياسية، وسموتريتش يفعل ذلك لأنه جزء من خطته الحاسمة».

وأشار كريف إلى أنه كان قد حذر منذ شهور من أن الضفة الغربية على وشك الانفجار، وأن هناك جهداً متعمداً من حكومة نتنياهو لخلق احتكاك متزايد بين الإسرائيليين والفلسطينيين. وجاءت الانتقادات من رئيس «حزب الديمقراطيين» يائير غولان، الذي اتهم حكومة نتنياهو بتعمد خلق واقع قابل للانفجار في الضفة الغربية وتحويلها إلى «برميل بارود» يهدد أمن إسرائيل، عبر إشعال المنطقة وجر الجيش إلى مواجهة أوسع.

إرهاب مدعوم من الدولة

من جانب آخر، قال مكتب رئيس الوزراء الفلسطيني في بيان عبر منصة إكس «إرهاب المستوطنين المدعوم من الدولة الإسرائيلية يتصاعد إلى مذابح منهجية في جميع أنحاء الضفة الغربية المحتلة».

وتشهد الضفة تصعيداً إسرائيلياً متواصلاً، واعتقلت قوات الاحتلال، أكثر من 75 فلسطينياً خلال اقتحامات لمناطق متفرقة، بينهم أكثر من 40 في بلدة تِل قرب نابلس، في حين أصيب 8 فلسطينيين في اعتداء نفذه مستوطنون على قرية فرعتا شرقي قلقيلية.

ومنذ أكتوبر 2023، قتل أكثر من 1182 فلسطينياً وأصيب الآلاف في الضفة الغربية، إضافة إلى اعتقال نحو 24 ألفاً.

Observers do not rule out an explosion of the situation in the occupied West Bank against the backdrop of the practices of extremist settlers. The Israeli security leadership has warned the political leadership and settler leaders of a potential slip into chaos and loss of control as settler violence escalates, calling for the necessity to calm the situation, according to Israeli Channel 12.

Death of 4 Palestinians and Israelis

The warnings come in the wake of the killing of four Palestinians and two Israeli soldiers on Friday when a group of Israeli settlers approached the Palestinian village of Til, southwest of Nablus.

While the situation in the West Bank warns of further tension, Channel 12 reported Israeli military officials warning of the significant support provided by political leaders to settlers, who set fires at five sites last night, alongside documenting 219 attacks by them in recent months.

Israeli Security Operation

Two Israeli settlers set fire today (Monday) in the industrial area of the town of Beta south of Nablus, and the deputy mayor told Al Jazeera that they burned a vehicle inside it.

The occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests in the village of Deir Jarir in the Ramallah district, turning one of the homes there into a field interrogation center. They stormed the Al-Arroub camp and the towns of Beit Ummar and Idna in Hebron governorate, the town of Kafr Qaddum east of Qalqilya, the village of Til southwest of Nablus, the Akabta neighborhood northeast of Tulkarem, and the village of Jalboun east of Jenin.

Palestinian officials said yesterday (Sunday) that Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villages in the West Bank, set fire to two mosques, and wrote slogans on the walls.

Escalation of Settler Attacks

The West Bank is witnessing a series of escalating settler attacks, as statistics from the United Nations and the Palestinian Authority indicate that they have led to the deaths of dozens of Palestinians this year and injuries to hundreds.

The Israeli channel reported that Israeli security officials confirmed that the Israeli army is considering the possibility of deploying reinforcements in the West Bank in anticipation of the Jewish holidays.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered a large-scale security operation in the West Bank and the cancellation of military leave, while far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich called for the annexation of the West Bank, which Israel occupied after the 1967 war.

Criticism Within the Knesset

Netanyahu's decision has led to criticism within the Knesset and from the opposition. Knesset member Giliad Kariv said (on Sunday) that the Prime Minister and his Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich want a "third intifada" in the West Bank. He clarified in a tweet on his X platform account that Netanyahu's government wants to ignite the situation in the West Bank instead of calming it.

He added, "They are deliberately pushing us towards a third intifada, and Netanyahu is doing this for political reasons, while Smotrich is doing it because he is part of his decisive plan."

Kariv pointed out that he had warned months ago that the West Bank was on the verge of explosion, and that there is a deliberate effort by Netanyahu's government to create increasing friction between Israelis and Palestinians. Criticism also came from the head of the "Democratic Party," Yair Golan, who accused Netanyahu's government of deliberately creating an explosive reality in the West Bank and turning it into a "powder keg" threatening Israel's security by igniting the region and dragging the army into a wider confrontation.

State-Sponsored Terrorism

On another note, the office of the Palestinian Prime Minister stated in a statement via the X platform that "state-sponsored settler terrorism is escalating into systematic massacres throughout the occupied West Bank."

The West Bank is witnessing continuous Israeli escalation, and the occupation forces have arrested more than 75 Palestinians during incursions into various areas, including more than 40 in the town of Til near Nablus, while 8 Palestinians were injured in an attack carried out by settlers on the village of Far'ata east of Qalqilya.

Since October 2023, more than 1,182 Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured in the West Bank, in addition to the arrest of about 24,000.
