أعلنت إدارة النادي الأهلي تعاقدها مع المهاجم الدولي السعودي عبدالله رديف بعقد يمتد لـ4 مواسم، في إطار تحركات الإدارة الرياضية لتعزيز صفوف الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالعناصر المحلية، ورفع الخيارات الهجومية قبل الدخول في استحقاقات الموسم الرياضي الجديد.

وجاء انتقال رديف إلى الأهلي بعد مفاوضات استمرت لأكثر من أسبوعين، شهدت منافسة على خدمات المهاجم السعودي الذي كان يمتلك أكثر من عرض، قبل أن يحسم اللاعب وجهته باختيار الأهلي، في ظل رغبته بارتداء القميص الأخضر وخوض تجربة جديدة في مسيرته الاحترافية.

ويُعد رديف، البالغ من العمر 23 عامًا، أحد المهاجمين السعوديين الذين اكتسبوا خبرة مبكرة في دوري المحترفين، إذ تدرج في الهلال قبل أن يخوض تجارب على سبيل الإعارة مع التعاون والشباب والاتفاق والفيحاء. وتشير إحصاءات دوري روشن إلى خوضه 76 مباراة في المسابقة خلال مسيرته حتى نهاية موسم 2025-2026، سجل خلالها 8 أهداف؛ بواقع هدفين مع التعاون، و3 أهداف بقميص الشباب، و3 مع الاتفاق، إضافة إلى مشاركاته مع الهلال والفيحاء. وفي الموسم الماضي شارك مع الفيحاء في 8 مباريات بالدوري وصنع هدفين.

وكانت تجربته مع الاتفاق في موسم 2024-2025 الأكثر حضورًا من حيث عدد المشاركات، بعدما خاض 28 مباراة في دوري المحترفين، سجل خلالها 3 أهداف وصنع هدفًا، بإجمالي 1151 دقيقة لعب، فيما سبق أن شارك في 20 مباراة مع الشباب موسم 2023-2024 وسجل 3 أهداف، و15 مباراة مع التعاون موسم 2022-2023 أحرز خلالها هدفين.

وعلى الصعيد الدولي، يمتلك رديف حضورًا مع المنتخب السعودي الأول، إذ تشير إحصاءات «أوبتا» إلى مشاركته في 21 مباراة دولية حتى 2026، سجل خلالها هدفين، أحدهما في كأس آسيا أمام كوريا الجنوبية، كما شارك في 10 مباريات ضمن تصفيات كأس العالم 2026 وسجل هدفًا.

كما يمتلك المهاجم السعودي تجربة واسعة مع المنتخبات السنية، وشارك مع المنتخب تحت 23 عامًا في عدد من البطولات، من بينها كأس آسيا تحت 23 عامًا وبطولة موريس ريفيلو، وسجل 4 أهداف خلال 5 مباريات في نسخة 2025 من البطولة الأخيرة.

ويأتي التعاقد مع رديف ضمن توجه الأهلي لتدعيم قائمته بعناصر سعودية قادرة على منح الجهاز الفني خيارات إضافية في الخط الأمامي، خصوصًا مع تعدد الاستحقاقات التي تنتظر الفريق خلال الموسم الجديد محليًا وقاريًا.

The Al-Ahli club management announced its signing of the Saudi international striker Abdullah Radeef with a contract extending for 4 seasons, as part of the sports administration's efforts to strengthen the first football team with local talents and enhance offensive options before entering the challenges of the new sports season.

Radeef's transfer to Al-Ahli came after negotiations that lasted more than two weeks, during which there was competition for the services of the Saudi striker, who had multiple offers, before the player decided to choose Al-Ahli, driven by his desire to wear the green jersey and embark on a new experience in his professional career.

Radeef, who is 23 years old, is one of the Saudi strikers who gained early experience in the professional league, having progressed through Al-Hilal before going on loan spells with Al-Taawoun, Al-Shabab, Al-Ittifaq, and Al-Fayha. According to Roshen League statistics, he has played 76 matches in the competition throughout his career until the end of the 2025-2026 season, during which he scored 8 goals; including 2 goals with Al-Taawoun, 3 goals with Al-Shabab, and 3 with Al-Ittifaq, in addition to his appearances with Al-Hilal and Al-Fayha. Last season, he participated with Al-Fayha in 8 league matches and assisted in 2 goals.

His experience with Al-Ittifaq in the 2024-2025 season was the most significant in terms of participation, as he played 28 matches in the professional league, scoring 3 goals and assisting 1, with a total of 1151 minutes played. He previously participated in 20 matches with Al-Shabab in the 2023-2024 season, scoring 3 goals, and 15 matches with Al-Taawoun in the 2022-2023 season, during which he scored 2 goals.

On the international level, Radeef has been present with the Saudi national team, as "Opta" statistics indicate that he has participated in 21 international matches until 2026, scoring 2 goals, one of which was in the Asian Cup against South Korea. He also participated in 10 matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, scoring 1 goal.

Additionally, the Saudi striker has extensive experience with youth national teams, having participated with the under-23 team in several tournaments, including the U-23 Asian Cup and the Maurice Revello Tournament, where he scored 4 goals in 5 matches during the 2025 edition of the latter tournament.

The signing of Radeef is part of Al-Ahli's strategy to strengthen its roster with Saudi players capable of providing the coaching staff with additional options in the front line, especially with the multiple challenges awaiting the team during the new season, both locally and continentally.
