أعلنت منصة «واتساب» إطلاق 4 مزايا جديدة لمستخدمي التطبيق عبر أجهزة «آيفون» و«آيباد» وأنظمة السيارات، ضمن تحديث يهدف إلى تحسين تجربة الاستخدام وتسهيل الوصول إلى الخدمات عبر مختلف الأجهزة.

وتتيح الميزة الأولى، إنشاء حساب جديد مباشرةً من جهاز «آيباد»، دون الحاجة إلى ربطه بحساب قائم على هاتف ذكي، ما يمنح مستخدمي الجهاز اللوحي تجربة أكثر استقلالية.

كما أصبح بإمكان المستخدمين مشاركة الأغاني في «الحالة» مباشرةً من تطبيقَي «أبل ميوزك» و«سبوتيفاي»، بدلاً من نسخ الروابط وإدخال بيانات الأغنية يدوياً.

وشمل التحديث تطوير تجربة «واتساب» عبر نظامَي «أبل كاربلاي» و«أندرويد أوتو»، إذ يمكن الاستماع إلى الرسائل والرد عليها صوتياً، وإجراء المكالمات والوصول إلى سجلها وجهات الاتصال المفضلة دون استخدام اليدين أثناء القيادة.

وأضاف التطبيق أيضاً، إمكانية فتح ملفات PDF داخل المحادثات، مع أدوات لتحديد النصوص وإضافة التعليقات بالتعاون مع «أدوبي أكروبات». وبدأت المزايا في الوصول تدريجياً إلى المستخدمين، وقد يستغرق تعميمها على جميع الحسابات بعض الوقت.

WhatsApp has announced the launch of 4 new features for users of the app on "iPhone" and "iPad" devices, as well as car systems, as part of an update aimed at enhancing the user experience and facilitating access to services across various devices.

The first feature allows users to create a new account directly from an "iPad" without the need to link it to an existing account on a smartphone, providing tablet users with a more independent experience.

Users can now also share songs in their "status" directly from the "Apple Music" and "Spotify" apps, instead of copying links and manually entering song details.

The update included improvements to the WhatsApp experience through "Apple CarPlay" and "Android Auto," allowing users to listen to messages and respond to them vocally, make calls, and access their call history and favorite contacts hands-free while driving.

The app also added the ability to open PDF files within chats, with tools for text selection and adding comments in collaboration with "Adobe Acrobat." The features have started to gradually roll out to users, and it may take some time for them to be available to all accounts.
