في لفتة إنسانية، تبرع النجم الأرجنتيني ليونيل ميسي بمبلغ 80 ألف يورو للمساهمة في إعادة إعمار منطقة سييرا أويستي في مدريد، بعد حرائق الغابات التي اجتاحت المنطقة.
إشادة إسبانية
وكتبت رئيسة حكومة إقليم مدريد إيزابيل دياز أيوسو عبر حسابها على منصة «إكس»: «تبرع ليونيل ميسي بمبلغ 80 ألف يورو لإعادة بناء سييرا أويستي في مدريد».
وأضافت: «أود أن أشكره، وأقول له إن أهل مدريد يتطلعون إلى استقباله قريباً ليمنحوه التصفيق الذي يستحقه».
مساهمات إنسانية حول العالم
وبحسب صحيفة «آس» الإسبانية، ليست هذه المرة الأولى التي يقدم فيها ميسي مثل هذه التبرعات، إذ يواصل دعمه للأعمال الخيرية من خلال «مؤسسة ليونيل ميسي»، التي أُنشئت عام 2007 لتمويل مشاريع الصحة والتعليم والرياضة للأطفال المحتاجين.
وفي عام 2020، تبرع ميسي بمبلغ 500 ألف يورو لمستشفيات في الأرجنتين لشراء أجهزة تنفس صناعي وشاشات مراقبة ومستلزمات طبية لمكافحة جائحة كورونا، كما تبرع في العام نفسه بمليون يورو لمستشفى كلينيك في برشلونة وعدد من المراكز الصحية الإسبانية الأخرى لدعم جهود مواجهة الجائحة.
وفي فالنسيا، أظهر تضامنه أيضاً بالتبرع بمليون يورو لمساعدة المتضررين من إعصار «دانا».
وبصفته سفيراً لليونيسف منذ عام 2010، قاد ميسي جهوداً إغاثية في هايتي عقب الزلزال، وأسهم في دعم برامج تعليمية للأطفال المتضررين من الحرب في سورية، كما شارك أخيراً في جهود الإغاثة عقب الزلازل التي ضربت فنزويلا، بمشاركة شريكته أنتونيلا.
خسارة مونديالية
يُذكر أن ميسي خسر نهائي كأس العالم 2026 مع منتخب الأرجنتين أمام إسبانيا بهدف دون رد، الشهر الماضي.

The President of the Madrid regional government, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, wrote on her account on the "X" platform: "Lionel Messi donated 80,000 euros to rebuild Sierra Oesté in Madrid."
She added: "I would like to thank him and tell him that the people of Madrid look forward to welcoming him soon to give him the applause he deserves."
Humanitarian Contributions Around the World
According to the Spanish newspaper "AS," this is not the first time Messi has made such donations, as he continues to support charitable causes through the "Lionel Messi Foundation," which was established in 2007 to fund health, education, and sports projects for underprivileged children.
In 2020, Messi donated 500,000 euros to hospitals in Argentina to purchase ventilators, monitoring screens, and medical supplies to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. He also donated one million euros that same year to the Clínic Hospital in Barcelona and several other Spanish health centers to support pandemic response efforts.
In Valencia, he also showed solidarity by donating one million euros to help those affected by the "Dana" hurricane.
As a UNICEF ambassador since 2010, Messi has led relief efforts in Haiti following the earthquake and contributed to supporting educational programs for children affected by the war in Syria. He also recently participated in relief efforts following the earthquakes that struck Venezuela, alongside his partner Antonela.
World Cup Loss
It is worth mentioning that Messi lost the 2026 World Cup final with the Argentine national team against Spain, with a score of 1-0, last month.
