في فاجعة أسرية هزت منصات التواصل والشارع المغربي، استيقظت مدينة الجديدة، شمال غربي البلاد، على جريمة صادمة تعيد إلى الواجهة النقاش حول تنامي الاعتداءات على الأصول؛ إذ أنهى رجل في الأربعين من عمره حياة والدته السبعينية بعد اعتداء جسدي عنيف داخل مسكنهما، مخلفاً حالة من الذهول والغضب العارم بين جيران الضحية وسكان المنطقة. واستقبلت المصالح الطبية بالمستشفى الإقليمي محمد الخامس المسنة في حالة حرجة للغاية، حيث جرى نقلها على وجه السرعة في محاولة لإنقاذها، إلا أن خطورة الإصابات البالغة التي تعرضت لها في أنحاء متفرقة من جسدها حالت دون ذلك، لتلفظ أنفاسها الأخيرة داخل المستشفى متأثرة بجراحها. وفور وقوع الجريمة، فتحت مصالح الدرك الملكي بحثاً قضائياً موسعاً تحت إشراف النيابة العامة المختصة، لفك لغز هذا الاعتداء وتحديد الملابسات والدوافع الحقيقية وراءه، تمهيداً لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة. وتعيد هذه الحادثة المأساوية إلى الأذهان واقعة مماثلة شهدتها مدينة بركان الشهر الماضي، حين أقدم شاب على الاعتداء الوحشي على والديه وتسبب في كسر عظامهما وإصابتهما بجروح بليغة قبل أن توقفه السلطات في منطقة غابوية بعد أيام من الفرار.

In a family tragedy that shook social media and the streets of Morocco, the city of El Jadida, in the northwest of the country, woke up to a shocking crime that brings back to the forefront the discussion about the rise of assaults on parents; a man in his forties ended the life of his seventy-year-old mother after a violent physical assault inside their home, leaving a state of shock and overwhelming anger among the victim's neighbors and local residents. The medical services at Mohammed V Regional Hospital received the elderly woman in extremely critical condition, where she was rushed in an attempt to save her, but the severity of the extensive injuries she sustained throughout her body prevented that, leading her to take her last breaths in the hospital, succumbing to her wounds. Immediately after the crime occurred, the Royal Gendarmerie opened an extensive judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, to unravel the mystery of this assault and determine the circumstances and true motives behind it, in preparation for taking the necessary legal actions. This tragic incident brings to mind a similar case that took place in the city of Berkane last month, when a young man brutally assaulted his parents, causing them to suffer broken bones and severe injuries before he was apprehended by the authorities in a forested area days after fleeing.
