تحولت طبيبة استشارية في بريطانيا من طوق نجاة إلى فخ قاتل، بعدما تسببت نصائحها وعلاجاتها الكارثية في إنهاء حياة ثلاثة مرضى، وإصابة 12 آخرين بعاهات دائمة، إثر تقديمها وصفات وتوجيهات وصفتها التقارير الطبية بأنها «بلا أي دليل علمي».
وكشفت مراجعة مستقلة صادمة أجرتها «الكلية الملكية للأطباء» في مستشفى «سانت هيلير» بجنوب لندن، أن الدكتورة فيرونيكا فارني تعمدت حرمان مرضى تليف الرئة المزمن من لقاحات الإنفلونزا و«كوفيد-19»، وبدلاً من إنقاذهم، نصحتهم بالامتناع عن تناول «زيت الكانولا» كعلاج بديل، معتمدة على أدوية غير مصرح بها لحالاتهم.
ولم يتوقف الأمر عند هذا الحد، بل تسبب إهمال الطبيبة، التي أُنهيت خدماتها فوراً، في تأخير علاج أحد المرضى لعامين كاملين، ومنح آخر نصائح بدنية بينما كان في حالة حرجة بحاجة لتدخل عاجل. ومن جانبه، وصف ريتشارد جينينغز، كبير المسؤولين الطبيين بالمستشفى، ما حدث بأنه «دون المستوى المأمول»، معلناً فتح مراجعة شاملة لملفات جميع المرضى الذين أشرفت عليهم الطبيبة، في وقت يواصل المجلس الطبي العام تحقيقاته مع فرض قيود صارمة تمنعها من مزاولة المهنة.
A consultant doctor in Britain turned from a lifeline into a deadly trap, after her disastrous advice and treatments led to the deaths of three patients and left 12 others with permanent disabilities, due to her providing prescriptions and guidance that medical reports described as "without any scientific evidence."
A shocking independent review conducted by the "Royal College of Physicians" at "St Helier" Hospital in South London revealed that Dr. Veronica Varney deliberately deprived patients with chronic lung fibrosis of flu and "COVID-19" vaccines, and instead of saving them, advised them to avoid "canola oil" as an alternative treatment, relying on unauthorized medications for their conditions.
The situation did not stop there; the negligence of the doctor, who was immediately dismissed, resulted in delaying treatment for one patient by a full two years, while giving another physical advice while he was in critical condition needing urgent intervention. For his part, Richard Jennings, the hospital's chief medical officer, described what happened as "below the expected standard," announcing the opening of a comprehensive review of the files of all patients under the doctor's care, while the General Medical Council continues its investigations with strict restrictions preventing her from practicing medicine.
