رجحت مصادر عراقية أن يوقع رئيس الوزراء العراقي علي الزيدي رمزياً في واشنطن منتصف الشهر الحالي ما يعرف بـ«تسوية حزيران» وهي تفاهمات تمنح بغداد استثمارات أمريكية واسعة مقابل إنهاء النفوذ الإيراني وتفكيك البنية العسكرية للفصائل.

وكشف مصدر حكومي لـ «عكاظ» أن أي فصائل أو أشخاص شاركت في الحرب الأخيرة بين واشنطن وطهران لن تحصل على أي منصب تنفيذي في الهيكل الإداري الرسمي في العراق.

وحسب تقديرات عراقية، فإن هذا الإجراء سيؤدي إلى إخراج نحو 3 آلاف موظف في الدوائر الحكومية ينتمون للفصائل المسلحة وهو ما تصفه بعض المصادر البرلمانية بأنه الخطوة الثانية أمام الزيدي الذي يسعى إلى بناء رصيد سياسي قبل وصوله إلى واشنطن، في وقت ما زالت حكومته تواجه صعوبات في استكمال تشكيلتها الوزارية وفي ملف السلاح.

وتواجه حكومة الزيدي وفقاً لمصادر ديوان رئاسة الحكومة عقدة في قضية الصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيّرة، مؤكدة أن عملية تسليم للسلاح جرت بالفعل لكنها كانت شكلية إذ جرى تسليم صواريخ ومسيّرات معطلة فيما بقي السلاح الثقيل الذي تصر عليه واشنطن.

وبحسب المصادر نفسها، فإن الفصائل تؤكد أنها سلمت جميع أسلحتها، وتقول إن على واشنطن أن ترشدها إلى أماكن السلاح المخفي إذا كانت تعتقد بوجوده.

وتضيف المصادر أن الصواريخ الباليستية نقلت في وقت سابق من إيران إلى تلك الجماعات داخل العراق، وأن طهران ترفض تسليمها تحت أي ظرف.

وتتزامن هذه التطورات مع تصاعد التوتر الأمريكي – الإيراني،إذ أعلن الرئيس دونالد ترمب أن الاتفاق المؤقت مع إيران انتهى بعد موجة جديدة من الضربات على إيران غداة تعرض ثلاث ناقلات لهجمات في مضيق هرمز.

Iraqi sources have indicated that Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi will symbolically sign what is known as the "June Settlement" in Washington in mid-month, which consists of agreements granting Baghdad extensive American investments in exchange for ending Iranian influence and dismantling the military structure of the factions.

A government source revealed to "Okaz" that any factions or individuals who participated in the recent war between Washington and Tehran will not receive any executive position in the official administrative structure in Iraq.

According to Iraqi estimates, this measure will lead to the removal of about 3,000 employees in government departments who belong to armed factions, which some parliamentary sources describe as the second step for Al-Zaydi, who is seeking to build political capital before his arrival in Washington, at a time when his government still faces difficulties in completing its ministerial formation and in the arms file.

According to sources from the Prime Minister's Office, Al-Zaydi's government is facing a dilemma regarding ballistic missiles and drones, confirming that a weapons handover has indeed taken place, but it was merely formal as defective missiles and drones were handed over while the heavy weapons insisted upon by Washington remain.

These same sources indicate that the factions assert they have handed over all their weapons and say that Washington should guide them to the locations of any hidden weapons if it believes they exist.

The sources add that ballistic missiles were previously transferred from Iran to those groups inside Iraq, and that Tehran refuses to hand them over under any circumstances.

These developments coincide with rising American-Iranian tensions, as President Donald Trump announced that the temporary agreement with Iran has ended following a new wave of strikes on Iran after three tankers were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz.
