أعلن رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني الدكتور رشاد محمد العليمي تصدي بلاده لانتهاكات المليشيات الحوثية عقب إصرارها على فرض أمر واقع واستقبالها رحلة جوية غير قانونية في مطار صنعاء.
وردًا على هذا التعدي السافر، نفذت القوات المسلحة اليمنية ضربة دفاعية استهدفت مدرج المطار، مؤكدةً جاهزيتها الكاملة لحماية السيادة الوطنية.
وأكد العليمي أن الدولة لن تسمح مستقبلاً لأي طائرة بانتهاك الأجواء اليمنية، سواء كانت متجهة إلى مطار صنعاء أو أي مطار آخر، وستردع أي محاولة لفرض أمر واقع يمس سيادتها أو ينتقص من سلطتها على أراضيها وأجوائها ومنافذها كافة.
وأشار إلى أن استخدام مطار صنعاء، الواقع خارج إدارة الحكومة اليمنية الشرعية، لاستقبال رحلات غير مرخصة، لا يمثل انتهاكًا لسيادة الجمهورية اليمنية فحسب، بل يخلق سابقة خطيرة قد تشجع جماعات مسلحة أخرى على استغلال مرافق مدنية خارج سيطرة الحكومات الشرعية.
وأوضح العليمي أن توجيهاته قضت بوضع حماية المدنيين والممتلكات أولويةً قصوى، وإفشال المخططات الإيرانية الساعية إلى زج اليمن في صراعات إقليمية، مشددًا على أن الدولة لن تسمح مستقبلاً بأي انتهاك للأجواء اليمنية.
وحمّلت الرئاسة اليمنية المليشيات الحوثية والنظام الإيراني المسؤولية الكاملة عن هذا التصعيد، وعن رفض المبادرات الحكومية المستمرة لتشغيل المطار بصورة قانونية وآمنة عبر الناقل الوطني. وبناءً على التطورات الراهنة، وجه العليمي برفع جاهزية القوات المسلحة والأجهزة الأمنية، داعيًا مجلس القيادة الرئاسي إلى عقد اجتماع طارئ لتقييم الموقف، ومطالبًا المجتمع الدولي ومجلس الأمن بالانتقال من مرحلة الإدانة إلى الردع الفعلي، عبر فرض عقوبات رادعة تضمن احترام السيادة اليمنية واستقرار المنطقة.
The President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, announced his country's response to the violations by the Houthi militias following their insistence on imposing a fait accompli and receiving an illegal flight at Sana'a Airport.
In response to this blatant aggression, the Yemeni armed forces carried out a defensive strike targeting the airport runway, confirming their full readiness to protect national sovereignty.
Al-Alimi emphasized that the state will not allow any aircraft to violate Yemeni airspace in the future, whether heading to Sana'a Airport or any other airport, and will deter any attempt to impose a fait accompli that affects its sovereignty or undermines its authority over its lands, airspace, and all its ports.
He pointed out that using Sana'a Airport, which is outside the control of the legitimate Yemeni government, to receive unlicensed flights not only constitutes a violation of the sovereignty of the Republic of Yemen but also creates a dangerous precedent that could encourage other armed groups to exploit civilian facilities outside the control of legitimate governments.
Al-Alimi clarified that his directives prioritize the protection of civilians and property, and thwarting Iranian schemes aimed at dragging Yemen into regional conflicts, stressing that the state will not allow any violation of Yemeni airspace in the future.
The Yemeni presidency held the Houthi militias and the Iranian regime fully responsible for this escalation and for rejecting ongoing government initiatives to operate the airport legally and safely through the national carrier. Based on the current developments, Al-Alimi directed the armed forces and security agencies to raise their readiness, calling on the Presidential Leadership Council to hold an emergency meeting to assess the situation, and urging the international community and the Security Council to move from condemnation to actual deterrence by imposing punitive sanctions that ensure respect for Yemeni sovereignty and regional stability.
