نعى قائد فريق إنتر ميامي والمنتخب الأرجنتيني ليونيل ميسي، والده خورخي، الذي رحل عن عالمنا السبت الماضي، عن عمر ناهز 68 عاماً، بعد صراع مع المرض.
«لا أصدق أنك رحلت»
وقال ميسي في رسالة مؤثرة نشرها عبر حساباته على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي: «أبي، ما زلت لا أصدق أنك رحلت، لم أستوعب الأمر بعد، أو بالأحرى، لا أريد أن أستوعبه، من الصعب جداً أن أتخيل أنني لن أراك مجدداً، وأننا لن نتحدث بعد الآن، أعلم أنك كنت تعاني وأن هذا هو الأفضل، لكنك رحلت مبكراً جداً، كان لا يزال أمامنا الكثير لنستمتع به معاً».
ميسي يُثير التساؤلات حول مستقبله
وأضاف: «لا أعرف ماذا سأفعل من دونك، ولا أعرف كيف سأواصل، كنت ألعب كرة القدم فقط، والآن لدي الكثير من الشكوك حول ما إذا كنت سأستمر في لعبها لفترة طويلة أخرى، كنت إلى جانبي منذ البداية، ولم يكن يتبقى سوى القليل جداً حتى النهاية. لماذا لم تصمد تلك الفترة القصيرة الإضافية وننهيها معاً؟».
«كنت أبي وصديقي ووكيل أعمالي»
وتابع: «أعرف أن سعادتك كانت في أن ترى عائلتك بخير، وزوجتك، وأولادك، وفوق كل شيء أن تراني ألعب كرة القدم، منذ أن كنت صغيراً جداً، كان الأمر دائماً هكذا. كنت تأخذني إلى جميع التدريبات بمجرد عودتك من العمل، وفي كثير منها كانت أمي تأخذني لأنك كنت تعمل، وبالطبع، لم تكن تفوّت أي مباراة».
واختتم رسالته قائلاً: «كنت أبي وصديقي ووكيل أعمالي، كنت دائماً الشخص الذي يجب أن تكونه في كل لحظة، ولم تخطئ أبداً في شيء. وبغض النظر عن بعض اللوم أو الشجارات، كنت دائماً على حق، وفي النهاية، كانت الأمور تنتهي دائماً كما كنت تقول، سأفتقدك كثيراً، لكنك ستظل حاضراً دائماً، وخصوصاً في تربية أبنائي، لأنني أعلّمهم وأربيهم كما فعلتم أنتم معي. شكراً على كل شيء.. أحبك يا أبي».
رونالدو يواسي ميسي
من جانبه، واسى قائد النصر كريستيانو رونالدو، ليونيل ميسي، الذي نافسه على أكبر الجوائز الفردية العالمية لسنوات طويلة، برسالة قال فيها: «أرسل لك ولأحبائك عناقاً كبيراً في هذا الوقت العصيب يا ليونيل، كن قوياً».

“I can't believe you are gone”
Messi said in an emotional message posted on his social media accounts: “Dad, I still can't believe you are gone, I haven't processed it yet, or rather, I don't want to process it. It is very hard to imagine that I will never see you again, and that we will not talk anymore. I know you were suffering and that this is for the best, but you left too early, we still had so much to enjoy together.”
Messi raises questions about his future
He added: “I don’t know what I will do without you, and I don’t know how I will go on. I was just playing football, and now I have so many doubts about whether I will continue playing for much longer. You were by my side from the beginning, and there was very little left until the end. Why couldn’t you hold on just a little longer so we could finish it together?”
“You were my dad, my friend, and my agent”
He continued: “I know your happiness was seeing your family well, your wife, your children, and above all, seeing me play football. Since I was very young, it has always been like this. You would take me to all the training sessions as soon as you got back from work, and often my mom would take me because you were working, and of course, you never missed a game.”
He concluded his message by saying: “You were my dad, my friend, and my agent. You were always the person you needed to be at every moment, and you never got anything wrong. Regardless of some blame or arguments, you were always right, and in the end, things always turned out as you said. I will miss you so much, but you will always be present, especially in raising my children, because I teach and raise them as you did with me. Thank you for everything.. I love you, Dad.”
Ronaldo comforts Messi
For his part, Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his condolences to Lionel Messi, with whom he competed for the biggest individual global awards for many years, in a message saying: “I send you and your loved ones a big hug during this difficult time, Lionel. Be strong.”
