اضطرت الخطوط الجوية النرويجية إلى تغيير صورة حسابها الرسمي على منصة «إنستغرام» إلى شعار الخطوط الجوية البريطانية، وفاءً بتحدٍ أطلقته قبل مواجهة منتخبي النرويج وإنجلترا في ربع نهائي كأس العالم 2026.

وكانت الشركة النرويجية قد دخلت في حرب دعائية طريفة مع نظيرتها البريطانية طوال الأسبوع الذي سبق المباراة، معلنة أن الشركة التابعة للمنتخب الخاسر ستستبدل شعارها بشعار المنافس في اليوم التالي للمواجهة.

لكن النجم الإنجليزي جود بيلينغهام قلب الموازين بعدما قاد منتخب بلاده إلى الفوز، مسجلاً هدفين قلب بهما تأخر إنجلترا بهدف إلى انتصار منحها بطاقة التأهل إلى نصف النهائي، وأطاح بآمال هالاند ورفاقه.

وبعد نهاية اللقاء، أوفت الخطوط النرويجية بوعدها، ونشرت عبر حسابها الرسمي عبارة: «أحسنت يا إنجلترا»، قبل أن تستبدل شعارها بشعار الخطوط الجوية البريطانية، في لقطة لاقت تفاعلاً واسعاً على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.

Norwegian Airlines was forced to change the image of its official account on the "Instagram" platform to the logo of British Airways, fulfilling a challenge it launched before the match between the national teams of Norway and England in the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup.

The Norwegian company had engaged in a playful advertising war with its British counterpart throughout the week leading up to the match, announcing that the company representing the losing team would replace its logo with that of the competitor the day after the match.

However, English star Jude Bellingham turned the tables after leading his country to victory, scoring two goals that turned England's deficit from one goal into a win that secured them a place in the semi-finals, dashing the hopes of Haaland and his teammates.
