وجه عضو مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني سلطان العرادة، اليوم (السبت)، برفع الجاهزية القتالية وتعزيز القدرات الدفاعية والعملياتية في كافة الوحدات العسكرية والأمنية بما يرفع كفاءة الأداء، ويواكب متطلبات المرحلة.

وخلال لقائه بوزير الدفاع الفريق الركن طاهر العقيلي، ورئيس هيئة الأركان العامة قائد العمليات المشتركة الفريق الركن صغير بن عزيز، بحضور قائد التحالف العربي في مأرب العميد الركن فارس الشمّري، ناقش العرادة مستجدات الأوضاع العسكرية والميدانية، ومستوى الجاهزية، وسير تنفيذ الخطط العملياتية في مختلف الجبهات.

وأكد العرادة أن المعركة الوطنية التي يخوضها الشعب اليمني وقواته المسلحة منذ سنوات تمثل معركة مصيرية دفاعاً عن الجمهورية، وحماية الثوابت والمكتسبات الوطنية، وأوضح أن المسؤولية الوطنية تفرض على الجميع مواصلة العمل بكل عزم وإصرار لمواجهة التحديات، وتعزيز قيم الانضباط والالتزام بالواجب الوطني، وتطوير القدرات القتالية والعملياتية، بما يضمن تنفيذ المهمات على أكمل وجه، وتحقيق تطلعات الشعب في استعادة مؤسسات الدولة وإنهاء التمرد والانقلاب ووضع حد للمعاناة الإنسانية التي تسببت بها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية.

وجدد عضو مجلس القيادة الرئاسي سلطان العرادة تأكيده حرص القيادة السياسية على سلامة جميع أبناء الشعب اليمني، وألا يكونوا ضحايا لمغامرات الحوثي والأجندة الخارجية.

وطالب العرادة أبناء الشعب في المناطق الواقعة تحت سيطرة مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية برفض الزج بأبنائهم في جبهات القتال، وعدم السماح للمليشيا باستغلالهم وقوداً لحروبها الخاسرة التي لا تخدم مصالح اليمنيين، داعياً كافة القبائل والأسر في تلك المناطق إلى تحمّل مسؤولياتهم تجاه أبنائهم وتحصينهم من حملات التجنيد الحوثية، ومنع انخراطهم في المشروع الدموي الطائفي الذي لم يجلب لليمن سوى الدمار والمعاناة.

وأشار عضو مجلس القيادة إلى أن استمرار مليشيا الحوثي في تعنتها ورفضها لكل المبادرات الإقليمية والدولية يؤكد أنها لا تؤمن إلا بخيار الحرب، وتتعمد إطالة أمد معاناة اليمنيين في مناطق سيطرتها، وتعميق المأساة الإنسانية، خدمةً لأجندة خارجية.

كما شدد على ضرورة تعزيز التلاحم الوطني ورص الصفوف، وتعزيز التنسيق والتكامل بين القوات المسلحة والأمن والمقاومة الشعبية، والمكونات السياسية والاجتماعية ورجال القبائل الأبية، وتوحيد الجهود والإمكانات وتبني خطابٍ وطنيٍ جامع، وتغليب المصلحة الوطنية بما يعزز تماسك الجبهة الداخلية، ويرفع مستوى فاعلية الأداء العام في مواجهة المشروع الحوثي المدعوم من إيران.

وثمّن العرادة المواقف الأخوية الصادقة والدعم الذي يقدمه تحالف دعم الشرعية بقيادة المملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة لليمن في مختلف الظروف، لافتاً إلى أن هذا الدعم يجسد عمق العلاقات الأخوية والمصير المشترك.

من جانبهما، أكد وزير الدفاع الفريق الركن طاهر العقيلي ورئيس الأركان الفريق الركن صغير بن عزيز أن القوات المسلحة تواصل تنفيذ مهماتها الوطنية بكفاءة ومسؤولية، مشددين على أن المؤسسة العسكرية تمضي بثبات في تعزيز قدراتها ورفع مستوى التنسيق بين مختلف الأجهزة والوحدات، بما يكفل حماية الوطن والدفاع عن الجمهورية وإفشال مخططات تنظيم جماعة الحوثي الإرهابية.

The member of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, Sultan al-Arada, today (Saturday), directed to raise combat readiness and enhance defensive and operational capabilities across all military and security units to improve performance efficiency and meet the requirements of the current phase.

During his meeting with the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Taher al-Aqili, and the Chief of General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz, in the presence of the Arab Coalition Commander in Marib, Brigadier General Faris al-Shammari, al-Arada discussed the latest developments in the military and field situations, the level of readiness, and the progress of operational plans across various fronts.

Al-Arada emphasized that the national battle being fought by the Yemeni people and their armed forces for years represents a decisive battle in defense of the republic, protecting national constants and gains. He clarified that national responsibility requires everyone to continue working with determination and persistence to face challenges, enhance values of discipline and commitment to national duty, and develop combat and operational capabilities to ensure the successful execution of missions and achieve the people's aspirations to restore state institutions, end the rebellion and coup, and put an end to the humanitarian suffering caused by the terrorist Houthi militia.

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Sultan al-Arada reiterated the political leadership's commitment to the safety of all Yemeni citizens and that they should not become victims of Houthi adventures and foreign agendas.

Al-Arada urged the people in areas under the control of the terrorist Houthi militia to reject the conscription of their children into the fighting fronts and not allow the militia to exploit them as fuel for its losing wars that do not serve the interests of Yemenis. He called on all tribes and families in those areas to take responsibility for their children and protect them from Houthi recruitment campaigns, preventing their involvement in the bloody sectarian project that has brought nothing but destruction and suffering to Yemen.

The member of the council pointed out that the continued obstinacy of the Houthi militia and its rejection of all regional and international initiatives confirms that they only believe in the option of war, deliberately prolonging the suffering of Yemenis in areas under their control and deepening the humanitarian tragedy, serving a foreign agenda.

He also stressed the necessity of enhancing national cohesion and uniting ranks, strengthening coordination and integration among the armed forces, security, popular resistance, political and social components, and noble tribal leaders, unifying efforts and resources, adopting a comprehensive national discourse, and prioritizing national interest to strengthen the internal front and raise the overall performance effectiveness in confronting the Iranian-backed Houthi project.

Al-Arada appreciated the sincere brotherly positions and support provided by the Coalition to Support Legitimacy, led by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to Yemen in various circumstances, noting that this support embodies the depth of brotherly relations and shared destiny.

For their part, Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Taher al-Aqili and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Sagheer bin Aziz confirmed that the armed forces continue to carry out their national missions with efficiency and responsibility, stressing that the military institution is steadily advancing in enhancing its capabilities and raising the level of coordination among various agencies and units, ensuring the protection of the homeland, defending the republic, and thwarting the plans of the terrorist Houthi group.
