أكد الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي ورئيس حكومة الوحدة الوطنية الليبية عبد الحميد الدبيبة، أهمية تسوية النزاعات في المنطقة عبر الحوار والوسائل السلمية لتحقيق السلم الإقليمي.

وخلال استقبال السيسي لرئيس حكومة الوحدة الوطنية الليبية، اليوم (الخميس) بمدينة العلمين، تم الاتفاق على تكثيف التشاور والتنسيق بين البلدين لمواجهة التحديات المشتركة، كما تناول اللقاء مستجدات القضايا الإقليمية والدولية، وبحث الجانبان فرص التنسيق المشترك للحفاظ على السلم والاستقرار الإقليمي.

وبحسب بيان صدر عن الرئاسة المصرية، حضر اللقاء رئيس مجلس الوزراء المصري الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، ووزير الخارجية والتعاون الدولي والمصريين بالخارج الدكتور بدر عبدالعاطي، ورئيس المخابرات العامة المصرية الوزير حسن رشاد، فيما حضر من الجانب الليبي مستشار الأمن القومي إبراهيم الدبيبة، ووزير الدولة للاتصال والشؤون السياسية وليد اللافي.

وأكد السيسي خلال اللقاء حرص مصر على استقرار وازدهار ليبيا، واهتمامها بدعم السلم والاستقرار في ليبيا وضمان وحدة وسلامة أراضيها.

وقال متحدث الرئاسة المصرية السفير محمد الشناوي، إن السيسي تطرق إلى أهمية تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين البلدين في مجالات ذات فرص واعدة، خصوصا في الكهرباء والطاقة والبنية التحتية وإعادة الإعمار، إضافة إلى العمل على زيادة حجم التعاون التجاري والاستثماري بين البلدين.

وأضاف أن رئيس حكومة الوحدة الوطنية الليبية أعرب عن تقديره لزيارة مصر ولقاء الرئيس، مؤكداً محورية العلاقات بين مصر وليبيا، مشيراً إلى أهمية الارتقاء بهذه العلاقات في المجالات ذات الأولوية لتحقيق التنمية والازدهار في البلدين.

وفي الإطار ذاته، ثمن رئيس حكومة الوحدة الوطنية الليبية موقف مصر الداعم لأمن واستقرار ليبيا، مؤكداً أن ذلك يعكس عمق الروابط التاريخية بين البلدين والشعبين.

The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and the Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government Abdul Hamid Dbeibah emphasized the importance of resolving disputes in the region through dialogue and peaceful means to achieve regional peace.

During el-Sisi's reception of the Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government today (Thursday) in El Alamein, an agreement was reached to intensify consultations and coordination between the two countries to face common challenges. The meeting also addressed the latest developments in regional and international issues, and both sides discussed opportunities for joint coordination to maintain regional peace and stability.

According to a statement issued by the Egyptian presidency, the meeting was attended by the Egyptian Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, and the Minister of the General Intelligence Service Hassan Rashad. From the Libyan side, the National Security Advisor Ibrahim Dbeibah and the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Al-Lafi were present.

During the meeting, el-Sisi affirmed Egypt's commitment to the stability and prosperity of Libya, and its interest in supporting peace and stability in Libya while ensuring the unity and integrity of its territory.

The Egyptian presidency spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy stated that el-Sisi addressed the importance of enhancing joint cooperation between the two countries in promising areas, particularly in electricity, energy, infrastructure, and reconstruction, in addition to working on increasing the volume of trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.

He added that the Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government expressed his appreciation for the visit to Egypt and the meeting with the president, affirming the centrality of the relations between Egypt and Libya, and highlighting the importance of elevating these relations in priority areas to achieve development and prosperity in both countries.

In the same context, the Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government praised Egypt's supportive stance for the security and stability of Libya, affirming that this reflects the depth of the historical ties between the two countries and their peoples.
